Kol HaRemez (Rabbi Moshe Zechut), second edition—Warsaw 1861. Interesting notes
Commentary on the mishnayot and the early commentators on the Mishnah, by Rabbi Moshe Zechuta. Second edition. Many important endorsements from rabbis of the Amsterdam communities: Rabbi Avraham and Rabbi Shlomo Ilion; Rabbi Yaakov HaKohen (Av Beit Din of Frankfurt), Rabbi David Oppenheim (Av Beit Din of Prague), Rabbi Yaakov of Metz Worms, and more. [4], 22, 39, 29, 20, 22, [1], 2 pages. Stains, changes in the page cuttings, old leather binding, generally good condition. Cover has interesting notes of ownership: “Eli’ Alexander Zusha ben HaRav Shem… | Motz of Plotzk-Zilbergberg.” And: “Rabbi Leivish Rosenberg.” Back of the binding has a sticker testifying that the book is “from Jewish libraries in Poland saved from destruction during the Shoah of 1939-1945.” On the binding is another sticker torn at the edge, from the library of the Chochmei Lublin yeshiva, and that the book is the donation of Zusha Zilberberg mentioned on the cover.
