Included is a historic document that directly led to the surrender of Nazi Germany, and whose "mate" resides in the National Archives. The sale also offers the British order to surrender Hong Kong, the Japanese surrender of Hong Kong, the British surrender of Java, historic German surrender documents, and much more.

HUGH TREVOR ROPER - INVESTIGATING THE DEATH OF ADOLF HITLER
In October 1945 Trevor-Roper was ordered by the head of counter-intelligence in the British sector of Berlin to investigate the circumstances of Adolf Hitler's death and to rebut the Soviet propaganda that Hitler was alive and living in the West. Trevor-Roper drafted his report which served as the basis for his most famous book The Last Days of Hitler. Good souvenir signed document "Hugh Trevor-Roper" 1p. 8.25 x 11.25 inches a copy on heavy stock of the Oct. 2 1945 U.S. G-2 order asking that the reader assist Trevor-Roper in "an investigation of the circumstances surrounding the death of Adolf HITLER" and that he be provided "facilities" for interrogation. Trevor-Roper signs at bottom in black marker. Fine condition.
