Sefer Sha'ar HaGilgulim by Rabbi Chaim Vital. First editon 1903. Personal copy with important editings by great Mekubal of Jerusalem.

Sefer 'Sha'ar HaGilgulim' (Kabbalistic work by R' Hayyim Vital discussing the the mystical concept of reincarnation known as 'Gilgul', based on Zohar and the teachings of his master the holy Arizal). With editing and explanations by Rabbi Sasson (Becher Moshe) Parsiado. First edition of this commentary. Jerusalem 1903.


The author Rabbi Sasson (Becher Moshe) Parsiado, great Mekubal of Jerusalem born in Spain in 1825. At the age of 5 his family immigrated to Israel and arrived to Jerusalem close to the Rishon LeTzion Chacham Yisrael Moshe Chazan. When Rabbi Sasson matured and grew spiritually he started learning in the yeshivat HaMekubbalim 'Bet El', there he learned all week and returned home for Shabbat only. His Rebbe's were Rabbi Vidal Koinka and Rabbi David Chayat. later he was appointed as Rosh Yeshiva and many came to acquire from his  glory, and to listen to his fiery prayers. He passed away in the year 1903.


This is a very exclusive copy, on the title page appears the stamp of the holy gaon Rabbi Chaim Shaul Dweck HaCohen (1858-1933) from Aleppo, Syria, later from the great Mekubalim and dayan in Jerusalem.

 

Also appearing on the title page is the stamp of the holy gaon Rabbi Yehuda Segal Rosner (1879-1944). From the prominent Rabbanim of Hungary in the generation before the Holocaust. Served as Rabbi of Csap and Seklhid (Szekelyhid), for about 39 years. In Seklhid he stood as Rosh Yeshiva of a great Yeshiva in Hungary where he established many disciples. Was very close to the Admorim of Satmar. Was murdered in Auschwitz the first day of Shavuot. Left after him his sefer 'Imrei Yehuda' on Torah, Shas and Shut.

No cover, sefer is a little lose. General condition very good.
