ADOLF HITLER
(1889 - 1945) Fuhrer of Germany and Nazi Party leader, Hitler's bloody rise to power, his military seizure of most of Europe and North Africa and his genocidal racial policies culminated in suicide in his Berlin bunker as Russian troops approached. Partly-printed D.S., 1p. large 4to., Berlin, Mar. 20, 1935, the appointment of Hermann Forkel as a ministerial officer. Signed by Hitler at bottom, co-signed by HJALMAR SCHACHT (1877-1970) as Minister of Finance. Hitler signature slightly blurred, else very good. SOLD WITH: six additional ministerial appointments of the same man, three bearing lithographed Hitler signatures, with one of those documents bearing an authentic signature of OTTO MEISSNER (1880-1953), Nazi Nuremberg defendant who served as Reichsminister and Minister of the Presidential Chancellery. Forkel's family figured prominently in Coburg and national politics.
