(d. 1942) Close Hitler associate and participant in the Beer Hall Putsch, a member of the 'Order of the Blood', later head of the National Socialist Motor Corps. Fine content T.L.S. on official NSKK letterhead, 1p. 4to., Munich, Sep. 14, 1940 to NSKK Obersturmmann Herbert Kalinowski of Motorgruppe Berlin. Huhnlein is pleased to learn that Kalinowki had been awarded the Iron Cross First and Second Class (during the invasion of Poland), and with this letter, promotes that man to Leutnant. Edge wear and two minor tears, folds, else very good.
