Good lot of five Japanese battle flags, some with notable damage and staining, includes: cotton flag, 33 x 27 in., with leather reinforcements on the hoist corners, some stains towards the fly end; cotton naval flag, 13.5 x 10 in. leather reinforcements on the hoist corners, fine; cotton flag, 9 x 13 in., paper reinforcements on the hoist corners, minor wrinkling, else fine condition; cotton flag, 36 x 27 in., heavily stained, holes, and tears; with a silk battle flag, 37 x 30 in, also well-worn with stains, holes, and tears.
