JAPANESE NATIONAL FLAG MADE IN TWO PARTS
Scarce war-era Japanese national flag, 30 x 28 in., made in two parts with the red center machine stitched to the white cotton field. This two-sided example, rarely seen in this type of construction, bears jury-rigged period string ties along the hoist. Genuine age toning and soiling.
