Extremely Rare. Commentary on the Aggados of Chazal in the Very Handwriting of Rav Shmuel Salant, Rav of Jerusalem.

One full page written on both sides, including comments on the aggados of shas, sayings of chazal and pesukim- in the holy handwriting of the Gaon of Jerusalem: Rav Shmuel Salant.

As is well known, Rav Shmuel Salant wrote very concisely- lengthy novellae in his handwriting are especially rare.

Rav Shmuel of Salant (5576-5669) was the rav of Jerusalem and leader of the Ashkenazic community for almost 50 years. From 5601, when he made Aliya to Eretz Yisrael, he served for around seventy years in various positions in Jerusalem. He was the first and foremost leader of all charity action and Torah organizations in Jerusalem.
