The official diplomatic letter acknowledges receipt of the King of Greece's announcement that his sister-in-law, Princess Frederica Louisa, wife of his brother Crown Prince Paul, had given birth to a Prince, baptised Constantin, on 2nd June 1940 and states 'Please believe in my sincere sharing of the happiness that this blessed event has brought to him and his Royal Family'. Countersigned at the conclusion by Eelco van Kleffens (1894-1983) Dutch Politician and Diplomat, Minister of Foreign Affairs 1939-46. With blank integral leaf.
