ALEXANDER III OF RUSSIA: (1845-1894) Emperor of Russia 1881-94. A good D.S., `Alexander´, a good and large signature example, in Cyrillic and in purple pencil, two pages, folio, Gatchina, 27th October 1890, in Cyrillic. The partially printed document being a decree to the Chapter of Russian Imperial and Royal Orders, to issue insignias and credentials to the Knights and bestowing the Imperial and Royal Orders for their fifty years services. The document bears a list of names, related to different churches all over the country, being granted several insignias such as the Imperial and Royal Order of Saint Grand Prince Vladimir and the Order of Saint Anna.
