German Scout Association Buckle (ALLZEIT BEREIT)
A German Boy Scouts "Deutscher Pfadfinderbund" (Scout Federation) Belt Buckle (Kasten-Koppelschlossen). 1926 model. One of the variants. Die-stamped brass, unmarked, illustrating a fleur-de-lys, with the inscription "ALLZEIT BEREIT" (Always Prepared) above and an arched wreath of laurel leaves below. The German Scout Association was founded on January 18, 1911 and banned in 1933.
