carved elephant ivory (Loxodonta africana Blumenbach, 1797 o Elephas maximus Linnaeus, 1758) “Corpus Christi” on a dark wood cross with silver 950/1000 terminals. Full French departments hallmarks in use between 1798 and 1809; cock and number 1 in octagon (silver standard 950/1000. Dimensions 57.5 x 35.5 cm, sculpture 25.8 x 19.8 cm. Item condition grading: **** good. Ce.S.Ar. Certificate of antiquity (pre-1947).
