FONTANA, Fulvio (1648-1723) - I Pregi della Toscana nell'impresse piu segnalate de Cavalieri di Santo Stafano. Florence: Pier Mattia Miccioni, e Michele Nestenus, 1701. A fine and fresh copy with good impressions of the plate and on strong paper. Complete of the portrait which is often missing and of the 37 full-page plates. Folio (307 x 222mm). Half-title, engraved frontispiece by Hubert Vincent with the arms of the Medici, portrait of Cosimo III, 37 engraved plates numbered I-XXXVII, all engraved, woodcut headpieces and initials. Contemporary vellum, panelled spine, manuscript title and shelfmark (lightly bowed, few light stains). Provenance: Ex Bibliotheca Vicentina (armorial bookplate).
