GUTHRIE, William (1708–1770) - A New System of Modern Geography. London: C. Dilly e G. Robinson, 1782. Internally a copy in very good conditions complete of all maps handcoloured in outline. 4to (282 x 231mm). An engraved plate by Thomas Kitchin illustrating an armillary sphere, 20 folding engraved maps, hand-coloured in outline (slight offsetting). Contemporary calf (rebacked preserving part of original spine). Provenance: J. W. Carier? (ownership inscription).
