The Gaon Rabbi Yechiel Meir Lifshitz (1816-1888), the Admor of Gostynin, one of the great Torah sages and tzaddikim of Poland. Alongside his great Torah knowledge and wisdom and his piety, he became renowned for his special love for every Jew, and for the many wonders he performed, and especially for his rulings regarding reciting Tehillim. Many achieved relief from their troubles that way.
Rabbi Yechiel’s son, Rabbi Yisrael Moshe Lifshitz (1832-1918), became the Admor after his father’s passing.
