Segula book “Toldot Shimshon” by the kabbalist Rabbi Shimshon Chaim Nachmani. Rare!
Shimshon Chaim Nachmani, author of Zera Shimshon, a commentary on the Torah.
In his preface the author relates that his only son died young and that no other sons were born after him. Rabbi Shimshon therefore requested “for the sake of my brothers and friends and students, let my name be on their lips and may my name be remembered for good in their mouths after my death, ” and promises, “He who rewards will repay with a good long life and sustenance for children, to those who perform acts of kindness.”
It is a known segula to learn from and study this book, to be blessed with children, long life and sustenance.
The Gaon Rabbi Shimshon Chaim Nachmani (c.1707-1769) was a pious ascetic, author of Toldot Shimshon and Zera Shimshon. He taught Torah in many communities in Italy and Chida wrote that he had heard that Rabbi Shimshon was well-versed in practical Kabbala.was renowned as a great kabbalist in his generation and
