Thomas Chambers (1808-1869). Hill Townscape [Mexico?]
Oil on canvas, 22 1/4 x 30 inches, circa 1845. A similar scene by Chambers is in the collection of the Indiana University Art Museum, Morton and Marie Bradley Memorial Collection, 98.137.
Condition: relined, craquelure throughout, paint is stable, minors areas of inpainting visible under black light.
