Albert and Elsa Einstein surrounded by journalists. According to the description in English included with the photograph (and sent by telegraph), this photo was taken on November 12, 1930. The scientist and his wife had just returned to New York after a trip to Japan following his receipt of the Nobel Prize in Stockholm. Photo developed by “Acieic & Atlantic, Chicago”. Size 18x25cm. With a matching cardboard and parchment paper case for preservation. Overall good condition.
