שמריהו רזניק נולד בפינסק, פולין. בשנת התרצ"ה, 1935, התיישב בראשון לציון. עבד ביקב כמנהל מסחרי 29 שנים. רכש אדמות בראשון לציון והקים את שכונת רזניק.
