מעטפת יום ראשון, מועדים לשמחה תש"ח, הבולים הראשונים שבהם מופיע השם ישראל! בעיצוב , אוטה ואליש – ושלישיית תויות קק"ל ה' באייר יום העצמאות.
"מועדים לשמחה תש"ט", היא סדרת הבולים השנייה שהונפקה במדינת ישראל, מיד לאחר בולי "דאר עברי", והראשונה ששם המדינה, "ישראל", מופיע עליה. הסדרה כוללת חמישה בולים, בערכים של מ-3 ועד 65 פרוטות, שעל כולם מופיע ציור אחיד, "מגילה עפה" – חותם מתקופת מלכי יהודה. הסדרה, שצייר אוטה וליש, יצאה לאור כשבוע לפני ראש השנה, בכ"ב באלול תש"ח.
