ALBRECHT SCHUBERT
(1886 - 1966) German general and Knight's Cross recipient. Schubert fought in Poland and France, and after promotion to general he temporarily commanded the entire 9th Army and later was given the command over the Hanover-based XI Army Corps. S.P., 3.5 x 5.5 in. b/w, a three-quarter length pose in uniform, boldly signed adding rank and date '1942'. Fine.
