ARTUR DINTER
(1876 - 1948) German writer and early Nazi politician, publisher of the newspaper 'Der Nationalsozialist'. For his loyalty to the NSDAP, Dinter received the single-digit membership number '5' after Hitler's release from prison following the Beer Hall Putsch. His war-date Third Reich identification card, approx. 8.25 x 6 in. (open), bearing Dinter's title and full name, his place and date of birth, and his occupation 'Writer'. The top of the third page bears an affixed portrait photograph of Dinter, next to his inked fingerprints, while the bottom of the page bears his signature, above the place and date of issue: 'Wolfach...8. Juli 1942'. Signature a bit faint, else fine.
