HANS VON LUCK
(1911 - 1997) German Panzer officer and Knight's Cross recipient, involved in the invasion of Poland and the USSR, the Second Battle of El Alamein, the defense of Normandy, and the final defense of Germany. Postwar S.P., 4 x 6 in. glossy b/w, a contemporary reprint of an original graphite sketch of Luck. Luck signs twice, once 'v. Luck' on the face, and once in full on the verso, adding rank and 'Hamburg, 28.03.95'. Tiny fold in bottom-right, else very good.
