HELMUTH HIRTH
(1886 - 1938) German engineer and pilot, a Leutnant of the Fliegertruppe, winning the Iron Cross II and being severely wounded. Hirth was also involved in zeppelin construction. S.P., 3.5 x 5.5 b/w, a 422 Sanke photo boldly signed and dated 1937. Fine.
