(1900 - 1982) Russian general who was an essential planner and director of the battle of Stalingrad, his forces headed the spearhead to Berlin, where he had the honor of receiving the surrender of the city from General Krebs. Partly-printed D.S. as Head Commander of Soviet Occupational Troops in Germany, 2pp. 4to., 1948, a military attestation of Head of the 235th Army Hospital, Major of Medical Service Konstantin Belski. Chuikov signs on the bottom of the second page. Chips on the right margin, else very good.
