Good pair of signed photographs bearing the signatures of five prominent pilots and engineers, three of whom have broken records. Includes: S.P., 10 x 8 in., an image of a flying Bell X-1 - the first manned plane to ever break the sound barrier - signed by CHUCK YEAGER, the first pilot to break the sound barrier; SCOTT CROSSFIELD, the first pilot to fly at twice the speed of sound; and test pilots 'PETE' EVEREST and 'TEX' JOHNSON. Sold with a signed photograph from BURT RUTAN, aircraft designer of record-breaking planes 'Voyager', the first plane to fly around the world without stopping or refueling, and the 'Virgin Atlantic GlobalFlyer', which set the world record for the fastest and longest nonstop, non-refueled, circumnavigation flight in history.
