Violin of an Italian luthier Enrico Marchetti (1855-1930). The opinion of the professional violinist: "Magnificent concert instrument. Deep tone, italian timbre. The instrument was made very conveniently". Violin with the certificate of authenticity.
Information:
Enrico Marchetti (1855-1930) was an Italian luthier from the city of Turin. In the end of the 1870s he joined Antonio Guadagnini's workshop, who was a son of Giovanni Battista Guadagnini. In 1881 Marchetti moved to Cuorgnè where run a successful business. In 1912 he came back to Turin, where went on made violins until the end of his life. Enrico Marchetti considered one of the best luthier of Guadagnini school.
