AN AUSTRO HUNGARIAN DAGGER THE PALACE HONOR GUARD
A dress dagger of the Royal Hungarian Guard, the scabbard features Meszaros Lajos Budapest maker's mark on the ricasso and a flatten-diamond shape blade decorated with etching on one side and the owner's name inscribed on the other side along with the date 1941. The scabbard is made of hammered metal featuring the Hungarian crest.
