B. Medal of New York University in memory of Lillian Wald, 1970. Portrait of Lillian Wald and the inscription: "Hall of Fame for Great Americans". Lillian Wald (1867-1940) was a Jewish nurse who was known for her contributions to human rights, especially the rights of women and minorities. Wald was chosen for the Hall of Fame for Great Americans in 1970.
