The medal honors the war heroes of the Allies: General Eisenhower, the British field marshal Harold Alexander and the French marshal Marie-Pierre Koenig. On the upper edge of the medal appears the inscription: These Were Honored in Their Generation and Were the Glory of Their Time.
On the lower edge of the medal there us the signature of its designer C.P. Jennewein.
On the reverse side of the medal appears the emblem of the Allies' expeditionary force and beside it the letters UJA, with a candle illuminating its surroundings under it. On the lower edge appears the inscription V-E Day and on the upper edge, the inscription Twentieth Anniversary.
Condition: Very Good.
