A. The Herzl Forest, Published by the Jewish National Fund, 1916 [?], with Photographs.
The booklet describes the "Herzl Forest" which was planted in memory of Theodor Herzl. It also includes a call to donate money to the project.
The Herzl Forest is the first forest planted by the Jewish National Fund near Chulda Kibbutz. Initially, olive trees were planted to which were added trees of other types. The forest was planted in 1907 and served as a model for the other forests planted by the JNF.

B. "Mauschel" by Theodor Herzl, English translation from German: Dr. Y. Olsbengross, Turtledove, Cape Town, 1921.
Muaschel – Moishel, a German accented Jewish name was a known derogatory name among anti-Semites. Herzl used the name to refer to the Jews who had assimilated, who were hostile to Zionism due to their desire to assimilate into the general society.
The article was translated into English in 1921. Before us is a copy of this English edition of the article.
A most rare booklet! Does not appear in any library in Israel. Is not registered in the bibliography enterprise. Is totally unknown!

C. The Tragedy of the Jewish Immigration. Testimonies given in 1902 to the national British committee of inquiry by Theodor Herzl, The American Jewish Federation, New York. 1920.
At the beginning of July 1902, Herzl was invited to testify before the national British committee of inquiry on the matter of the immigration of "poor foreigners" – euphemism for Jews from Russia and Romania – who immigrated to England due to the persecutions in Eastern Europe. Herzl called for a general solution to the problem: recognizing the Jews as a nation with a right to establish a national home in a certain area, which could be, according to him, in the north of Sinai or in the area of Al-Arish (The Al-Arish Scheme). Subsequently, in February 1903, a delegation of experts on behalf of Herzl was sent to study the conditions in the area. In May 1903, the plan was rejected definitively.

Condition: Very Good.
