Booklet in English published by Hodder and Stoughton by Rabbi Michael Adler (1868-1944), the Chief Military Rabbi of Britain during World War I. Hand-signed by the author!
The booklet describes the part the Jews of the British Empire played during World War I.
90% of the England-born Jews of the right age volunteered for the British army. Many of them received various decorations. Several Jewish officers were most outstanding; among them was General John Monash, who commanded the Australian army in France and was knighted by King George the Fifth.
