E. Agricultural Development in Palestine – Report to the Zionist Executive, Published by The Zionist Federation, London, 1924.
Detailed report about agricultural developments in Palestine submitted to the Zionist Administration.
Elwood Mead (1858-1936), who wrote the report, was head of the betterment department in the USA and a professor at California University.
He wrote the report after a visit to the Land of Israel at the request of the Zionist Federation to examine the agricultural settlement. In his report, he recommends to develop the branches that are related to agriculture. He also criticizes the exaggerated dependence of the agricultural settlements on the national institutions.

Soskin (1873-1959) was an agronomist and an early member of the Zionist Movement. He won the Israel Prize for Agriculture in 1958.
