Arba Turim. Hanau, 1610. Complete Set!
Complete set of Tur with Orach Chaim, Yoreh Deah, Choshen Mishpat and Even Ha’ezer by Rabbeinu Yaakov Baal Haturim, son of the Rosh, along with novella by Rabbi Avraham of Prague and additional references to Talmud Bavli, Talmud Yerushalmi and various works of the Poskim.
The title page is intricately embellished with illustrations of the Akeidah and images of Moshe and Aharon.
Clear printing with adorned letters at the start of each section of the Tur.
Hanau, 1610. 117: 91:59:140 leaves. Page size: 30 cm. Thick volume. Complete, in good condition. List of owners and signatures. New leather binding.

The Tur is a universally-accepted halachic work, and its categorization of halachah into Orach Chaim, Yoreh Deah, Choshen Mishpat and Even Haezer is followed until today.
The Shulchan Aruch is based on the Tur.
According to the editor’s notes at the end of the book, which describe the founding of the Jewish printing press in Hanau, this may very well have been the first Jewish book printed in Hanau, Germany.
