The book is a textbook for high schools. Fascinating introduction by the author explaining the importance of his composition in a period in which "the Jewish People stand on the threshold of a new life". Following World War I, the book is meant for the young students of the new schools that opened after the War in order to introduce Judaism to them in an orderly and comprehensive manner. The author planned to publish a complete series of books, intended for religious and non-religious students alike.
The series was divided to three major themes "which Judaism deals with: A. between man and man, B. between man and himself, C. between man and God". Each subject was divided to sub-themes. According to his plan, on the title page of the volume before us it is written: "Part A of Book A – which includes the complete first part of the series – Between Man and Man". In practice, this was the only part that was printed.
Printed by Yavne Publication in Lodz. A few books (about five) were printed by this publication. This before us is the first among them.
