JNF Golden Certificate given to Dr. Hentke, signed by Bar Ilan, Granovsky and Katznelson, 1944.
[1] certificate. 33x45 cm. Signed by the directorate of the JNF in 1944: Rabbi Meir Bar Ilan, Avraham Granot (Granovsky) and Berl Katznelson .
Dr. Hentke was a lawyer and economist, a leader of the Zionist organization in Germany and head of the Keren HaYesod. He connected the Zionists in Eastern and Western Europe and founded the Central Zionist Archive.The Golden Book of the Keren Kayemeth L'Yisrael is a collection of names and organizations who gave substantial donations to the Zionist movement.
The certificate is pasted to cardboard. Very fine condition.
