Haggadat Eretz Yisrael - Jerusalem, 1923 - Parody
Humorous Haggada by Kadish Yehuda Silman. The Haggada refers to the life of the Yishuv in the Land of Israel. Thus, for example, the four sons are: the wise son - the High Commissioner to Palestine, the evil son - the Arabic Higher Committee, the simple son - the old Yishuv, and the son who is unable to ask a question - the young generation "which will not speak much but will do much…"
Many important people are mentioned (Eliezer Ben Yehuda, Menachem Ussishkin, Rabbi Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld, Pinchas Rothenberg and many more) as well as various polemics.
15.5 cm.
[1] pp. 28, [2] pp.
