Likutei Torah, Ma'amarei Chassidut by the Admor Hazaken Rabbi Shneur Zalman of Liadi, First Edition, Zhytomyr, 1848. (With the Rare Compilation of Additions)

Extremely rare! A complete set with the additions. Two volumes of Likutei Torah by the Admor Hazaken (the Alter Rebbe) Rabbi Shneur Zalman of Liadi, First Edition, Zhytomyr, 1848.

The holy sefer 'Likutei Torah', the Ma'amarim of the Admor HaZaken on Chumashei Vayikra Bamidbar and Devarim (and on Parashiyot Beshalach and Pekudei and on Shir HaShirim and the Mo'adim) the four sections of the book appear in two volumes with a separate title page for each section. Published by the brothers Rabbi Chanina Lipa and Rabbi Yehoshua Heschil Shapiro the grandsons of the Rav of Slavita. Appearing at the end of the second volume is also the rare compilation "Hosafot LeSefer Likutei Torah" (appearing in this compilation are the important approbations of the Holy Gaon Rabbi Baruch Mordechai of Broisk and the Holy Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Epstein of Vitebsk who approbated the Shulchan Aruch and Likutei Torah, and very prominant approbations by the Holy Geonim and great Chassidim, who approbated the first edition of the Likutei Torah, (yet their printed approbations appear here for the first time) Zhytomyr 1848.

The Holy sefer Likutei Torah is a continuation of the sefer 'Torah Or' (which contains the Ma'amarim of the Admor HaZaken on Chumashei Bereshit and Shemot). However, in Likutei Torah, published by the Tzemach Tzeddek (who compiled the Ma'amarim and prepared them for printing) printed his comments due to the pleas of the eldest of the Chassidim.
