Kiepenheuer & Witsch 1981.” (A Farewell to Tevye’s World, a reference to Tevye the Dairyman of Sholem Aleichem’s stories), pictures taken from Jewish shtetls. Edited by Leon Brandt and published by Kiepenheuer & Witsch, 1981. Authentic photos from Jewish Europe before the Second World War, published for the first time in this project after they were discovered in an archive in New York. Introduction and description of the photos in German. A few stains. Overall very good condition, 191 pages. Dust jacket over the binding.
