Letter from the Rebbe in Yiddish with blessings that the recipient will be able to be the person to give good tidings. Signed by the secretary. Tevet 1955
Typewritten letter on official letterhead from 3rd of Tevet 1955. The Rebbe answers the recipient about the names that she asked to be mentioned in prayers—names of family who live around her and do not have shalom bayit and have additional problems. The Rebbe answers that he will mention them, and at the end he strengthens his brachot: “Hashem help us that just as you were the shaliach to bring the request, so too you can be the shaliach to give good tidings on the subject”. Signed by the secretary, Rabbi Eliyahu Quint, “in the name of the Admor Shlita”. Many letters supposedly signed by the secretaries were actually the Rebbe himself signing using the secretary’s name. [1] page and envelope. Folding creases, light stains, overall good condition. The Chabad Rebbe, the Admor Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson of Lubavitch, was the 7th leader of the Chabad movement and lived from 18 April 1902 to 12 June 1994.
