Haim Arlozorov -
The murder of Chaim Arlozorov, one of the leaders of the settlement and head of the political department of the Jewish Agency, took place on June 16, 1933, on the shores of Tel Aviv. The murder, which remained unsolved, provoked a great storm in the Jewish community and heavy accusations against the revisionist movement. The controversy over the identity of the killer and its consequences continued to be conducted in the locality during the British Mandate and even in a commission of inquiry after the establishment of the State of Israel.
