Tzaddik Yesod Olam - Kitvei HeAr"i. Extremely Rare

Tzaddik Yesod Olam, Kabbalistic commentary on Meggilat Ruth, from the Ari"s doctrine. With the Meggilat Ruth text, printed without vowelization. Koritz, [c. 1800]. Incomplete copy. Before us is an especially rare book that to the best of our knowledge has never been offered at auction (Refer to Ginzei Yisrael no. 1083, where they theorize that the book was printed c. 1800).

On the book's title page: "And the book is called Tzaddik Yesod Olam for Boaz and Ruth as elucidated in this book - this megillah speaks of the foundation of all foundations ... which is Boaz who became the foundation of the world that is Ruth." The author details in the book the entire order of the creation of the worlds, and thereby arrives at an elucidation of the process of the redemption of the Jewish people and their return to their Land. This process could not be explicitly written in a period of the depth of exile. There are those who discover prophecies in the book about events that happened in recent years (approximately 200 years after it was written!) including precise dates. They bring proof to their claim from the fact that the book was almost completely unknown until recent generations and it is becoming ever more famous in our generation and this is a hint to the upcoming redemption.

Regarding the source of the book before us and the identity of its mysterious author, there are various opinions. There are those who claim that the book's author is the Ar"i HaKadosh himself, and there are those who claim that it was written by an ancient Kabbalist who composed it according to the Ar"i's doctrine, and this is the accepted opinion.
