Menachem Tziyon - Rimanov. Segulah Book for Wealth. Pedigree Copy. Glosses

"Anyone who buys this holy book will have an abundance of blessing open up from the Heavens for him for children, health and sustenance" (approbation from the Yitev Lev of Sighet)

Menachem Tziyon. Lemberg, 1878. Famous book by the renowned Admo"r Rabbi Mendel'e of Rimanov, one of the Chassidic leaders and progenitor of the famous 'Parashat HaMann' segulah (to be recited on Tuesday of the week Parashat Beshalach is read) as a segulah for wealth. To this day, people from all over the world visit the gravesite of Rabbi Mendel'e of Rimanov in Poland with prayers for sustenance.

The edition before us is considered a "special segulah edition" because it bears the first appearance of the approbation by the author of Yitev Lev, Rabbi Yekutiel Yehudah Teitelbaum of Sighet, in which he promises: "Anyone who buys this holy book will have an abundance of blessing open up from the Heavens for him for children, health and sustenance." The Admo"r of Stutchin, grandson of the author of Yitev Lev, elucidated the reason for this segulah: Most of the book Menachem Tziyon by the Rimanov Rebbe, ztz"l, revolves around Parashat HaMann, because the Rimanov Rebbe would pray extensively for sustenance on behalf of the Jewish people." In the same way, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Panet of Dej foresaw that "it is known to all that when this Admo"r spoke Torah ideas about Parashat HaMann (as is known, Rabbi Mendel'e spoke Torah thoughts about Parashat HaMann for twenty-two years), he influenced ... for us and the entire Jewish people, good effects for children, health, and sustenance."

The title page bears the signature and stamp of the renowned Chassid Rabbi Elazar Elimelech Waldman of Bardyev, of distinguished lineage. He was a son-in-law of the Bnei Yissachar of Dinov's son, and a grandson of the Admors of Belz, Apta and Lizhensk, and father-in-law of the Admo"r of Tomashov. There are two lengthy handwritten glosses along the leaves of the book.

[42] leaves, approximately 22 cm.

Moderate-fine condition: Aging stains. Tears, some of which are restored. Restoration to the corners of the title page.
