Manner of Jean-Michel Basquiat (American, 1960-1988)Attributed: Untitled, Postcard of Crowned Man. Oil stick on heavy grade paper board. Marked verso with artist's initials, crown and dated 62. Basquiat first achieved fame as part of SAMO, an informal graffiti duo who wrote enigmatic epigrams in the cultural hotbed of the Lower East Side of Manhattan during the late 1970s where the hip hop, punk, and street art movements had coalesced.
