BULOW HANS VON: (1830-1894) German Conductor, Pianist & Composer. A.L.S., Hon. Pres., presumably in his capacity as Honorary President of the Raff Conservatory of Music, on one side of a plain postcard, n.p. (Cheltenham, Gloucestershire), n.d. (13th May 1884), to Max Schwartz in Frankfurt, in German. Bulow asks for his correspondent to have the Bianca Neri prospectus translated into English and printed and sent to Messrs. Dale & Forty in Cheltenham and Messrs. Lyon & Hall in Brighton, remarking that 'There are always customers in these areas' and further adding that he will meet Schwartz in Koblenz on Tuesday afternoon and suggest that he 'write down anything that would need to be discussed orally'. In a postscript Bulow asks for a publication to be sent to Paul Heyse in Munich. Hand addressed by Bulow to the verso. One minor vertical crease, only very slightly affecting the text, G Paul Heyse (1830-1914) German Writer & Translator, Nobel Prize winner for Literature, 1910.
