TOULOUSE-LAUTREC HENRI DE: (1864-1901) French Painter and Illustrator. A rare and unpublished A.L.S., `Henri´, four pages, 8vo, n.p., 13th June 1893, to his mother 'Ma chere Maman´, in French. Toulouse-Lautrec starts his letter with a statement `I am extremely busy´, and explaining that his spends his mornings with printings and in the afternoon supervising the decorations for `La fin d´Antonia´, and lists three things he expects his correspondent to do promptly stating in part `You must send me as soon as possible my summer dark grey suit which you must have in your trunks… 2) Make a barrel of wine be prepared, which you will send and which we will bottle to drink it in winter.. 3) I will send you the exact nuance for the paper. Meanwhile make the bathroom furniture be painted and also the wall stain.´ Further again and before concluding Toulouse-Lautrec states `I intend to depart in 15 or 20 days. I still have two posters to do before my departure. Have a careful look to the Figaro when the June illustrated Figaro will be announced.
