Passport Mask With Three Faces, Koulango, Ivory Coast
African Tribal Art: Koulango People, Ivory Coast: Masterfully conceived and carved Passport mask featuring a single head with the features of three faces. The head is topped by dual front-facing horns, , below which emerge animalistic abstracted ears. Carved wood, pigments. The mask has a fine patina. 19th/20th Century.
DIMENSIONS: 12"H x 6.5"W x 3"D
PROVENANCE: Private collection.
CONDITION: Good condition with evidence of handling and age.
