A ROYAL LIFE SAVING SOCIETY AWARD OF MERIT MEDAL
On the obverse of the medal - a relief image of the rescue of a drowning man and the inscription: "THE ROYAL LIFE-SAVING SOCIETY / AWARD OF MERIT". The reverse depicts a girl holding a laurel wreath and a ribbon with the inscription: "AWARDED TO G. KIDDIE. 1934". Hallmarked with the silversmith mark 'JAW&Co' for J.A. Wylie & Co and other English hallmarks. Complete with an original case. Weight: 0.4 oz., 12 g.
