יחזקאל מוריאל - נולד ב-1934 בעירק (בצרה), היה פעיל במחתרת הציונית ועלה לארץ ב-1950. לפני עלותו לארץ שם משפחתו היה מועלם.
בנו הוא המוסיקאי, מנהל תזמורת ומלחין: עזרא מוריאל.
היה מנהל עבודה בסלילת כבישים, ולאחר שרכש תעודת הוראה בלימודיו, עסק בהוראה.
באגודת הסופרים העברים השתתף בוועדה לקשרי חוץ ויזם קשרים עם סופרים בארצות ערב, וכן גם בוועדת הביקורת.
היה מבין הסופרים המתנדבים בערי הפיתוח וכפרי הילדים.
הנושאים בהם עסק בעיקר היו במשבר העלייה לארץ. וגם נושא ה"פרהוד"- הפרעות ביהודי עירק בשבועות תש"א- 1941.
