. Letter from the Rebbe on receipt of the pidyon and a guarantee to mention the noted, signed by the secretary. Shvat 1985, with envelope.
Typewritten letter on official letterhead of the secretariat of the Chabad Rebbe from the 13th of Shvat 1985. “I certify that I received the letter with the request for a blessing from the 22nd of Tevet, I will read the noted, Admor, etc.”. Signed by the secretary Rabbi Shalom Menachem Mendell Simpson “in the name of the Admor shlita”. It is well-known that many letters were signed in the secretaries’ names but were often the Rebbe himself signing them.
[1] leaf. Folding creases, light stains and small holes in the margins that do not damage the text. Overall good condition. Includes the original envelope, partially torn.
